"The disunited mind is far from wise; how can it meditate? How be at peace? When you know no peace, how can you know joy? When you let your mind follow the call of the senses, they carry away your better judgment as storms drive a boat off its chartered course on the sea" - 2:66, The Bhagavad Gita
Hello and welcome.
My name is Tamara.
I live in Melbourne, Australia with my 5 boys and husband.
I am a student and teacher of Patanjalis's eight limbs of Yoga.
I love to create and share.
It has been through my personal yoga practice combined with my personal experience of the 'charm' of a Mala, that I developed a desire to create pieces not only for myself but also for others. Whilst choice and placement of gemstone and wooden beads is significant to the beauty of the Mala and my personal creative process, deepest gratitude goes to the wisdom of the yogi's who first developed these sacred pieces thousands of years ago with the intent of keeping our attention 'one pointed' - stilling the ever moving mind.
This little store is the place where you will find Meditation and Wrist Malas handmade by me.
